The Kuźnice Mountain Inn is a historic building with a folk atmosphere and some modern elements.
Kuźnice was first known to the public in 1766, when a steel mill was located there, which operated dynamically until 1878. In the years 1807-1869 Kuźnice was owned by the Hungarian Homolas family, who in 1833 decided to extend the industrial part by a manor house consisting of farm buildings with a beautiful garden and fountain. Over the years, Kuźnicki Homolas Court has become the largest metal company in all of Galicia, gaining the status of an important visiting point for scientists, artists and tourists staying in the Tatra Mountains.
In 1889 the court was taken over by Władysław Zamoyski, where, a year later, Maria - Wladyslaw's sister, opened a new summer restaurant in Kuźnice. It was very popular and became an excellent starting point for tourists travelling to the mountains, as well as a place for social meetings, where one should "be" and at the same time - a fashionable cafe.
In February 1900 the restaurant burned down. For this reason, Władysław Zamoyski built a new building, which in 1902 brought considerable income. In 1926 the Kuźnicki Court became the property of the state.
